Spotting

This may be an awkward post for some people to read but it is something that scared me when I first noticed it.  Apparently when you have all these hormones surging through your body, it not only messes with your emotions, but a little spotting is normal too.  I pretty much thought going through all the shots and medicine would save me from that dreaded "time of the month"  Alas, I was mistaken.  Apparently when you stop birth control you can almost have a full period (and yesterday I took my last BC).  I was getting worried, so I decided to call my nurse this afternoon and she eased my worries.  She's seriously the best contact person for this process since I probably call or email her once a day and she always gets back to me ASAP.
BTW--I can definitely feel all the prayers and positive vibes.  Tonight's shot (in my left leg) was a breeze!  Thank you so much for the support!

  1. That's wonderful your nurse is so helpful through this process. So glad your shot didn't hurt today too! Things are going well! What an exciting time! Hope you and Seth can enjoy this Valentine's weekend together! Dad and I have a 4 day weekend! Woohoo! Dad is thrilled! Love you! Mom
