Day 3 of Shots

I'm feeling pretty blah and my brain is in a fog right now, but I did get some good news!  After reading the pamphlet that came with my medicine (yes I re-read it for fun), I noticed that I could do the shots in my upper thigh area.  Since it's been a little painful doing the last few shots in my stomach, I decided to call my nurse today to see if that would be okay.  She said it would be fine, but warned me that some patients find it to be more painful.  Since my legs aren't as sensitive as my stomach area I thought it would be much more enjoyable to do it in my right leg tonight.  I was right! Seth ended up working late so I had to do everything by myself, so here is my step-by-step!
Overall I liked my thigh shot so much better!  I hope I'll be able to do more of my shots in that area (since I have several more weeks of this kinda thing, and it ramps up to 3x daily here soon)!

  1. Glad you found your shots in the leg are less painful. Anything to make it more tolerable is better! Have a great day tomorrow! Love you! Mom

  2. This is so great to read! I'm so happy things are moving forward for you guys. Sounds like the leg shots will be a lot easier. Are you still experiencing headaches? I hope they're manageable! Can't wait to read more! Good luck, my friend!

    1. Thanks, Heather! It's such a good feeling to see our plan of action unfolding! The headaches are worse right after the injections so luckily I go to sleep shortly after them. It's kind of a background headache during the day. But it is all worth it! =)
