Seth and I are so excited that we are having twin boys! I'm shocked, but thrilled both are boys! With all our embryos from the first round being female, I just assumed our fresh transfer babies would be female too (Seth laughs when I say that since law of averages says some are bound to be boys). It could be that all the ones we froze from this fresh transfer are boys or a mix! We know for sure we have one female frozen from the first round though. Anyways, Seth's dream from a couple months ago was right! He said he thought both were boys, and now he has proof!

It was so exciting seeing both boys today on the ultrasound. They were not shy about showing off the fact that they are boys. They wanted Mom and Dad to know! They also showed their little hands. Baby B's hand was very clear with the fingers all spread out.
A fond memory from this morning is Seth saying to pull out our name list and to go over it while we waited to see Kirsten (the nurse practitioner). We want solid and easy first names since our last name is longer.
I was also happy to find out my Placenta Previa is gone and shouldn't be a problem the rest of the pregnancy.
My back pain is bad enough though that I set up an appointment with a chiropractor who specializes in prenatal and postnatal care. I'm looking forward to seeing her on Wednesday and getting some relief!
What great news for the family - two boys to run around the house. Your life and house have just changed. Happy for all of us. Love, Dad
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Seth and Carlie! How exciting to be pregnant with two very special boys! They will be such a joy to all of us! It will be fun to play sports with them and teach them things like how to read and play piano too. How fun that will be! I love all the pics today! It's amazing how you can see such details! I love the wave hello showing all 5 fingers on one hand too! Incredible! So excited to see them next year! It can't get here soon enough! What a happy day! So grateful the placenta previa corrected itself too! Happy news all around! Love you all! Mom ππ⚾️πΈπ️♀️π️♀️π⚽️ππΎ⛸π
